OUR HUNGER PROGRAM
Power of One Foundation continues to combat food waste and hunger through its innovative food recovery program, feeding approximately 1000 people a month. The program combats food insecurity through food rescue while promoting sustainability and community well-being.
POOF is making a profound difference in the lives of 1000 individuals each month by partnering with esteemed food chains such as Olive Garden, Chipotle test kitchens, McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Fleming Prime Steak House, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kreme's Donuts, and HMS International.
At the heart of this program lies the commitment to reducing food waste from restaurants and redirecting it to those in need. Each partner restaurant plays a vital role by contributing surplus, wholesome meals that might otherwise go to waste. Power of One Foundation has strategically designed a seamless process that ensures the efficient collection and redistribution of surplus food.
