VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We have lots of fun opportunities coming soon!
As they go live we will share them here and on our socials. |
UPCOMING SPRING EVENTS
We are sad to announce that we are canceling this event due to lack of funding. Due to our main sponsor’s finances not coming through for our Mother’s Day event, we had to cover those expenses with our budget for our Father’s Day event. It was unexpected & very unfortunate so we are unable to host this event & produce it on the level the fathers deserve. We look forward to celebrating all the Superdads next year! We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment as we work very hard to honor our commitments.
Sincerely, The POOF Team |
We are taking May off with this program. Be back soon!

NEW INITIATIVE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Power of One Foundation has recently launched a new initiative to address the issue of violence in our communities. The initiative, aptly named Stop the Violence, aims to bring together community members, organizations, and law enforcement agencies to work collaboratively towards creating safer and more peaceful neighborhoods.
The Stop the Violence Initiative is rooted in the belief that every individual has the power to make a positive change in their community. By working together, community members can identify the root causes of violence, develop strategies to address them, and build stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
The Power of One Foundation's Stop the Violence Initiative is multifaceted and involves a range of activities, including community outreach, education, advocacy, and direct support for victims of violence. Through community outreach, the initiative seeks to engage with community members, raise awareness of the issue of violence, and promote the importance of collective action.
Education is also a crucial component of the initiative, with a focus on educating individuals about diplomatic communication skills, non-violent conflict resolution, empathy, and understanding. By providing individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to resolve conflicts peacefully, the initiative hopes to reduce the incidence of violence in the long term.

TRUNK OR TREAT 2022 RECAP
BIRTHDAYS MATTER PROGRAM
Power of One Foundation has launched its birthday program and we are getting an amazing response from families who participate. This initiative is very dear to our hearts as we have had requests for birthday parties for kids who normally would not be able to celebrate their special day due to financial restraints in their family. We are excited to partner with IKEA Costa Mesa, Baker-Fairview Self Storage, & Jessica's Pastry Heaven for this initiative.
SUMMER & FALL COMMUNITY EVENTS
Power of One Foundation proudly partners with Camp Pendleton & the USO. We were honored to co-produce their Annual Jamboree this year.
Power of One Foundation loved being at the Costa Mesa Police Department's Annual National Night Out, talking to the community and giving out craft kits for the kids.
GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER
Volunteer Network OC & Power of One Foundation team up to raise money for at-risk areas of Orange County. One hundred percent of proceeds will go toward both organizations equally to support community outreach in Orange County.
