Andre Roberson is a music artist, actor, film/TV producer and humanitarian whose passion for life and heart for others propel everything he accomplishes. He is a unique combination of visionary and leader with the ability to both dream big and succeed bigger. He creates space for others to grow while guiding them by example and through service.

Since 2005 Andre has run a small nonprofit that he started with his mother and grandmother that has provided food assistance in Santa Ana, CA. In 2019 Andre co-founded Power of One Foundation (POOF) with the vision of creating replicable models to care for our at-risk communities more efficiently. In 2020, Andre became an even more prominent leader in his community as he stepped up to provide food assistance to over 2 million individuals in California through POOF. Because of the foundation’s efforts, it was chosen as 2020 California Nonprofit of the Year by Senator Tom Umberg, inducted into the Congressional Record, awarded the Mayor Award from the city of Costa Mesa, and awarded by partners such as IKEA and the City of Santa Ana.

In Orange County, Andre Roberson grew up in a family business caring for the mentally challenged. A deeply spiritual, God-fearing man, Andre believes he was blessed to grow up in this environment. Andre cheerfully explains, “It gave me the unique opportunity to understand all kinds of people. Yes, at times the work is hard, very hard, but through it I have discovered a greater love, acceptance, and appreciation for all people, especially those considered “outcasts” by the broader society. I’ve learned that genuine sincerity, love, and understanding are what every single one of us needs to give and receive.”

In the film and music industries, Andre has made waves for years. He first entered the entertainment industry as a recording artist on his own independent label, Beat Lounge Record. An award-winning R&B/hip-hop artist, Andre has performed at iconic venues all over the country, including Whiskey-A-Go-Go, The Troubadour, the Key Club, and the House of Blues in various locales; he has headlined events in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, Caesar’s Palace, Planet Hollywood, Luxor, and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As an actor, Andre has been featured in movies (Notorious, Dangerous Minds, Powerplay, and Sunset Strip) and in recurring and guest-starring roles in TV shows such as Days of Our Lives, The District, and Angel.

For the past 15 years, Andre has been a key development executive specializing in film finance, film production, and film development, as well as record production, music consulting, and scoring for the film and television industry, alongside running his two nonprofit organizations serving the underprivileged and fighting hunger in and around Southern California.
