Janice Frechette-Artinger is the Executive Director of Parentis Foundation, where she leads Empowering Readers OC—an award-winning intergenerational literacy program that improves reading outcomes for children while engaging older adults as volunteer mentors. Since 2016, she has expanded the program’s reach through strong school and community partnerships, making Parentis Foundation a vital resource in Orange County.
Janice also serves as a Founding Board Member of the Orange County Schools Bright Futures Foundation, which is dedicated to driving student success through classroom innovation, student well-being, and expanded learning opportunities. In addition, she serves on the boards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley, the Passkeys Foundation Institute for Community Impact, and Templo Calvario Community Development. Her leadership and service have earned her numerous recognitions, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Service to Youth Award, the Passkeys Foundation Influencers for Good Founders Honoree, and recognition as a finalist for the Los Angeles Times B2B Orange County Inspirational Women Leadership Award. |
